Westside High School Student Life Complex

This project for Westside Community Schools will include the partial demolition at the existing High School- including the demolition of the existing natatorium, aquatics locker rooms, secondary gym, and secondary two-story locker rooms to allow for a new life complex addition in its place. The new Life Complex addition will include a new natatorium with pool, spectator seating, and locker rooms, a new fitness center, training center, multipurpose room, innovation classroom, secondary gym, and associated support spaces for a total new addition size of around 67,000 SF. The Life Complex will also include interior renovation to existing interior space for a Life Skills Suite, Fitness Studio, Batting Cages, and a College & Career Readiness Center for a total interior renovation of about 13,000 SF.

Safety – This project for Westside is a fairly complex addition on a very tight active school site. Our team has recent similar school experience and has created very detailed wayfinding, signage, and site fencing – keeping student safety as a top priority.
