Republic Plaza Renovations
Denver, CORepublic Plaza — downtown Denver’s tallest high-rise building — underwent a significant reconstruction to its lobby concourse. The Weitz Company replaced the former subterranean food court with a much brighter, open space (courtesy of two, open-air glass atriums that supply natural light to the building) that has become a tenant-only lounge, co-working area and an 8,000-square-foot fitness center with locker rooms, private showers and a separate studio for exercise classes.
The new concourse features a gaming area, equipped with ping-pong, shuffleboard and foosball tables; a completely furnished common area that faces a modern, stone fireplace with a big-screen television; and three shared conference rooms that may accommodate small groups and up to more than 100 people.
