The Lookout Apartments is an 800+ bed student housing project for the Colorado School of Mines. This residence hall exclusive provides housing for sophomores and plays a major part of the Vision 100 campus plan for the university by further solving the campus’s housing deficit.

This 7-story dormitory has three stories of type I-A concrete podium structure under four stories of type I-B load bearing metal framing. The structural steel and panels were installed with Corten weathering material that will create earthy elements. The courtyard stone outcropping walls are designed to mimic the geological formations of the surrounding area.

Each apartment has private bedrooms, shared bathrooms and a fully furnished kitchenette with shared laundry services on each floor. The building also provides students with amenities that include an Amazon marketplace, dining hall, recreation and wellness spaces, as well as, study lounges.
