What makes Weitz such a great place to work?
Weitz is an incredible place to work because of the opportunities and challenges we provide. If you are willing to work hard and are committed to developing and pushing yourself outside your comfort zone, you will have access to great opportunities to build some of the most challenging projects in the United States, as well as Internationally.
What is one thing everyone should know about The Weitz Company?
Weitz, being part of Orascom USA, as well as the parent company Orascom Construction, is a worldwide organization with revenue over $3B. Yet, in any given location, we feel and operate like a small, approachable organization. The sense of family exists in every Office and Business Unit. There are many opportunities in the construction industry, but I have stayed with Weitz for the last 25 years because of the challenges, opportunities and relationships that have been provided.
Something unique or interesting about me is …
I love outdoor activities and always enjoy a good softball or flag football game. I gave up amateur motocross racing, but I still like to get out and ride some. And I also have a passion for water and snow skiing. I have lost my competitive desire for many of these sports, I think that comes when your kids start passing you on the slopes.
