New Corporate Headquarters for IMT Group Delivered

The Weitz Company finished construction on IMT Group’s new corporate headquarters in West Des Moines, Iowa, on December 10 – four days before employees moved into the three-story, 85,000-square-foot building.

Highlighted by a custom designed exterior façade, the building is composed of white precast, black granite, glass and accents of red metal panels that appeal to IMT Group’s brand. Spans of glass provide ample daylight throughout the office workspaces, which were tailored to the needs of IMT and its employees. Designed by Shive-Hattery, employees have the ability to work independently or collaboratively throughout the building. That includes in the two-story atrium in the back of the building that features a café/bar area, stadium seating and large windows looking out to green space and a terraced patio.

The building, which also features ample space to gather, a gym, a recreation room and one half-mile walking loop, provides the opportunity for future company growth.
