Grinnell Loose Hall

The Grinnell Loose Hall renovation for Grinnell College modernized an 80-year-old, four-story, 36,000-square-foot residence hall. Construction took place from July 2024 through June 2025 with a total project cost of just over $15 million. The renovation included installation of all new MEP systems, new interior finishes throughout, the addition of an elevator, and replacement of all exterior windows. Site improvements on the east side of Grinnell Loose Hall included new utilities and construction of an ADA-accessible ramp entrance providing access to the basement level.
