Weitz Ranks 15th on Iowa Top Workplaces Mid-Size Employers List

In our first year of participating, we have been named a Top Workplace in Iowa, according to a survey conducted by WorkplaceDynamics. The listing of Iowa’s top 150 workplaces was published on September 17 in a special section of The Des Moines Register. Weitz was categorized with the mid-sized companies (150-499 employees in the state of Iowa), claiming No. 15 out of 50 employers in the size band.

“This recognition is a major testament to each and every one of our employees,” said The Weitz Company President & CEO Leonard Martling. “We would not have been named a top workplace without the pride and satisfaction everyone has for their job and this company.”

The top workplaces lists are generated based on survey responses received from employees of participating companies. A response rate of 35 percent was required from Iowa-based employees to make the list in Iowa. Weitz had 95 percent participation from its Iowa-based employees.
