Amid today’s climate of economic uncertainty, predicting where the market is headed remains a complex task. Key indicators—like the Architecture Billings Index (ABI)—suggest a slowdown is on the horizon, especially in the commercial construction sector. We’re seeing hesitation driven by tighter lending conditions, inflation concerns, and general market unease. However, not all sectors are cooling. Demand for data centers remains robust, fueled by the growth of cloud services and AI infrastructure. Likewise, infrastructure projects tied to public funding continue to provide additional construction volume across the country.
