In The News: Breaking Ground in Gretna

The Weitz Company is proud to partner with the City of Gretna on a transformative new project—the Gretna Community Complex. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on April 9, 2025, marking the official start of construction on this 60,000+ square-foot facility that will serve as a vital hub for civic life.

Located at Highway 6/31 and Jansen Drive, KMTV Omaha and Midwest Contractor covered the groundbreaking, marking the start of this transformational project.

As Construction Manager at Risk, Weitz is honored to help bring this vision to life in collaboration with Sinclair Hille Architects, and the dedicated teams behind the Gretna Public Library Board and Foundation. Together, we are building more than a structure—we’re helping plant the seeds for the next generation of Gretna.
