Weitz Partners with City of Gretna to Build New Community Complex
Weitz proudly joined the City of Gretna, the Gretna Library Board, and Sinclair Hille to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Gretna Community Complex construction project! This moment marks the beginning of an exciting project that will serve as a vital hub for community engagement and growth.
The new complex will include a modern library and City Hall, along with offices and meeting spaces for the City Council, Planning Commission, Board of Adjustment, and Tree Board. By combining essential civic functions under one roof, the facility will create a more connected, efficient, and accessible experience for local civil servants and Gretna community residents.
A key feature of the Gretna Community Complex construction project is the consolidation of two existing libraries into a single, expanded location. This modernized space will offer enhanced resources, updated technology, and flexible areas for learning, gathering, and collaboration—meeting the evolving needs of the growing Gretna community and helping build a better way for generations to come.
We’re honored to partner on a project that reflects our commitment to building purposeful, lasting spaces.
