Peoria Fleet Maintenance Facility

The Weitz Company is the general contractor for the development of a new municipal fleet maintenance facility which replaces an existing facility located at the City of Peoria Municipal Operations Center. The scope includes constructing a (25) bay under-roof facility supported by 15-20 mechanics. This is a new 46,631 SF facility including heavy duty and light duty truck bays, offices, a training room, tire build facility, tire and parts storage rooms, restrooms, and break room. During the design phase, Weitz provided services include scheduling, constructability, cost estimating, construction sequencing, and value engineering.
