University of Oklahoma McCasland Hall
Norman, OKMcCasland Hall is a modern, six-story residence hall designed to elevate the first-year student experience at the University of Oklahoma. Named after the McCasland family, whose legacy began with Thomas H. McCasland, an OU graduate and founder of Mack Energy, the facility reflects OU’s commitment to student comfort, well-being, and sustainability.
Constructed on the former site of Adams Center, which served students since 1970, McCasland Hall was completed after a 22-month construction period at a cost of $82.5 million. The building features reinforced concrete and post-tension cabling for structural integrity, complemented by a brick and cast stone exterior.
