World Quality Week 2025: Our Commitment To Construction Quality Management

November 17, 2025  /  Blog,

World Quality Week 2025 is a global celebration of quality and the people who champion it across organizations, teams, and communities. It’s not just a single event, it’s a worldwide movement that encourages organizations to host initiatives, spark meaningful conversations, and inspire action.

This year’s theme, “Quality: Think Differently,” challenged traditional approaches to quality management and encouraged organizations to embrace new ways of thinking. For Weitz, it was an opportunity to reflect, reimagine, and innovate, together with our industry peers.

A Perspective from Our Leadership

Michael Eissa, Director of Commissioning and Quality Control for our Mission Critical team, shared his thoughts on why quality must be embedded into every decision:

“As we celebrate World Quality Week 2025, I’d like to reflect on the importance of embedding quality into everything we do across our data center projects. Embedding quality into our strategic decision-making is key to ensuring long-term success. Quality cannot stand alone; it must be an integral part of our business strategy, guiding decisions at every level. By aligning quality with our organizational goals, we not only strengthen resilience and competitiveness but also achieve sustainable growth and maintain the trust of our stakeholders.”

How We Put This into Practice

To bring these ideas to life, Weitz conducted daily toolbox talks on our Mission Critical job sites during the morning Stretch and Flex sessions. Each day of World Quality Week 2025 focused on a specific theme:

  • Monday – Alignment: Connecting quality initiatives to organizational strategy.
  • Tuesday – People: Empowering individuals to take ownership of quality.
  • Wednesday – Performance: Strengthening risk identification and performance excellence.
  • Thursday – Safety & Quality (World Quality Day): Highlighting the integration of safety and quality, two pillars that protect and elevate our work.
  • Friday – Commit to Excellence: Celebrating collaboration, trust, and our shared commitment to continuous improvement.

These conversations reinforced that quality isn’t just a function, it’s a mindset that drives every decision and every action.

Looking Ahead

World Quality Week 2025 may be over, but the lessons remain. At Weitz, we’re committed to:

  • Continuing conversations about quality
  • Seeking opportunities to innovate and improve
  • Building a culture where excellence is the standard

Quality isn’t just a goal, it’s a way of thinking. Thank you to everyone who helped make this week a catalyst for change.
