Certifications: Safety Trained Supervisor Construction

Mick started as a construction manager when he joined The Weitz Company in May 2013 and now serves as project executive over all our plant services projects. A graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in industrial engineering, Mick got his start in construction by being accepted into an apprentice program for Iron Workers Local 577 in Burlington, Iowa. Mick became a partner in that company with the role of vice president of estimating and safety director prior his departure.

Managing a talented and dedicated team of individuals in the office and field.

Our commitment to performing the best job possible while making a fair profit.

Something unique or interesting about me is …
As hard as it is to believe, it has been 43 years since I stepped foot on my first construction project – a slipform grain silo along the Mississippi River in Keithsburg, Ill. I worked every day on the project right up to the day I left for Iowa State.
