Groundbreaking Marks New Era for Data Center Infrastructure in Wisconsin

Weitz, a subsidiary of Orascom Construction, is proud to be one of the general contractors on the Lighthouse data center campus in Port Washington, Wisconsin, a transformative project being brought to life by our client, Vantage Data Centers. Lighthouse is part of the broader Stargate initiative in partnership with Oracle and OpenAI, and represents a more than $15 billion investment in next-generation AI and data center infrastructure in Wisconsin.

Spanning 672 acres, the campus will include four state-of-the-art data centers delivering nearly 1 gigawatt of computing capacity once complete in 2028. Designed with sustainability in mind, Lighthouse will feature closed-loop liquid cooling, zero-emission energy generation, and water-positive operations, helping power both the campus and the region.

Weitz is honored to work alongside community leaders, union partners, and local stakeholders as this project creates thousands of construction jobs and positions Port Washington as an emerging hub for digital innovation.
