Celebrating the Topping Out of Shell Point Tower One – Vista Cay
The Weitz Company is proud to celebrate a major milestone in the construction of Shell Point Tower One – Vista Cay, marking the official topping out of this 14-story Independent Living tower at the Shell Point Retirement Community in Fort Myers, Florida.
Developed by the Christian and Missionary Alliance Foundation, Inc., and designed by Perkins Eastman, Tower One is the first project to break ground as part of Shell Point’s multi-phase master plan, ushering in a new era of senior living on the Gulf Coast.
Spanning 267,411 square feet, the tower will offer 58 Independent Living residences thoughtfully arranged to capture stunning river and sea views. The design features a two-story parking podium supporting a 12-story residential tower, with a variety of layouts including lofts, traditional apartments, and penthouses. Residents will enjoy beautifully appointed amenity spaces, including a social room, outdoor terraces, and expanded patios overlooking the scenic surroundings.
The $107 million project began construction in July 2024 and will be completed in April 2027. Once finished, Tower One will provide residents with a lifestyle that blends comfort, connection, and community, continuing Shell Point’s long-standing tradition of excellence in senior living.
The topping out celebration recognized the teamwork and dedication of everyone involved in reaching this exciting point, from the crews onsite to our project partners and design team. Together, we’re building more than just a structure, we’re building a place where residents can thrive for years to come.
Building a better way means building communities that stand the test of time. We’re honored to help bring Shell Point Tower One – Vista Cay to life.
