Q: What should I bring with me on my first day?
A: On your first day, you will need to bring acceptable forms of identification per I-9 specifications. Please view this link for information as to which document(s) will meet the requirements. You should also bring direct deposit information (account number and routing number) to get this set up right away.

Q: What is the dress code?
A: Dress in our office locations is business casual. Your new manager will explain any dress requirements on specific jobsites, if applicable.

Q: What should I expect on my first day?
A: Your first day with Weitz will include introductions to our people and our company, as well as discussions on our core values, mission, organizational structure and the systems we use. You will also receive an office tour, jobsite tour (if applicable) and your new workspace. Finally, you will be matched with a peer partner to assist you in your transition and provide training.

Q: When can I enroll in benefits?
A: Benefits are effective on the first day of the month, following date of hire. Within one week of your start with us, you will receive instructions on how to enroll in benefits. For your convenience, a detailed benefits guide is available by visiting this link.

Q: Which holidays are observed at Weitz?
A: Salaried, full-time employees enjoy 11 paid holidays, two of which are personal floating holidays to be used at the employee’s discretion. Click this link for the 2017 Holiday Schedule

Q: When can I expect my first paycheck?

Q: When can I use my Paid Time Off (PTO)?
A: Employees accrue PTO each pay period and may use this time as it is accrued, with manager approval.
