ChildServe Medical Childcare TI

ChildServe will be relocating from their current 9,000 SF facility to this new 24,000 SF facility, increasing the number of children they can serve from sixty (60) to nearly six-hundred (600) as the facility begins to operate over the next few years. At this new location, ChildServe will have their outpatient speech therapy, physical therapy, occupational therapy, their medical childcare program, autism day program, ABA, and mental health therapy.

This project included the renovation of the interior, as well as site improvements on the exterior, of a former healthcare clinic into ChildServe’s new Des Moines facility. The interior renovation included the updating of half the space with new interior finishes in ChildServe’s colorway. The other half of the space was gutted and reconstructed to accommodate ChildServe’s medical childcare program, autism day program, and ABA with all new finishes and fixtures. The sitework included the demolition of an existing gym structure, replacement of poor condition paving in the parking lot, addition of ADA accessibility, the addition of a canopy system, in ChildServe colors, at ChildServe’s main building entrance on the SE side, monument and building signage, and the addition of an architectural column system at the building’s north entrance.
