The Weitz Company Welcomes Latoya Goree as Senior Business Development Manager for Aviation Group

Goree will hold dual roles as she also continues as Executive Director for Terminal Workforce Enhancement Programs at Kansas City International Airport (KCI) new single terminal project, managing outreach and development to support local workforce and build capacity in small businesses.

Des Moines, Iowa – The Weitz Company is pleased to welcome Latoya Goree to her new role as Senior Business Development Manager, supporting The Weitz Company’s Aviation group. Goree brings a valuable viewpoint to the team, possessing a unique background in the education and nonprofit space, which led her to most recently serve as Executive Director and Ombudsman of the Terminal Workforce Enhancement Programs (TWEP) at Kansas City International Airport (KCI) new single terminal project, an Edgemoor Infrastructure & Real Estate project, and joint venture of Clark | Weitz | Clarkson.

As Senior Business Development Manager, Goree will work with a dynamic team to further advance the company across the Aviation sector, focusing on projects such as terminal expansions, baggage handling systems, and automated people movers. She also will be integral in continuing The Weitz Company’s commitment to work with local small businesses on all projects, focusing on those owned by minorities, women, and veterans.

Goree has over 20 years of experience as an Education and Nonprofit Administrator. She is a native Arkansan and holds an MBA in Business Administration from the Helzberg School of Business’ Executive MBA program and also holds a MA in Education from the University of Phoenix.
