Sammons Financial Group Corporate Headquarters

This new 230,000 SF headquarters for Sammons Financial Group included a six-story office tower a two-story amenity building and an outdoor space. The two-story amenity area for employees and visitors includes a conference center, work cafe and business center. It also features a fitness center with a group fitness space. The building provides access to outdoor walking trails surrounding the property and includes surface parking and a below-grade parking garage. The office space was built to house the company’s current 500 employees to accommodate for growth in the coming years for up to 850 employees.

One key feature in the project was the installation of approximately 32,000 SF of SageGlass windows. SageGlass is an automatic, electronically tintable glass for windows. Technically termed “electrochromic glass” or “dynamic glass,” SageGlass controls sunlight without the need for blinds or shades. The windows help to control energy consumption and temperature within the building. At the time, this was the largest installation of SageGlass Harmony windows in the United States
