Beaumont, Texas

Natgasoline is a world-scale, greenfield methanol production complex in Beaumont, Texas, that has a capacity of up to approximately 1.75 million metric tons per year. It is one of the largest merchant methanol production facilities in the world.

The project’s scope of work included handling the installation of concrete, steel, piping, equipment and the underground contaminated sewer system. The majority of the equipment installed was fixed, including four pieces of rotating that Weitz conducted the alignment and the epoxy grout work.

The largest vessels set on the project were in excess of 750 tons (the heaviest being 900 tons).
