Laura Eathorne named General Manager of The Weitz Company Rocky Mountain Business Unit in Denver, Colorado

Eathorne brings over twenty years of construction experience, demonstrated leadership, and a clear understanding of the Denver construction market to this position

DENVER, CO – The Weitz Company is pleased to announce the promotion of Laura Eathorne to General Manager of the Rocky Mountain Business Unit, located in Denver, CO. 

Eathorne is a proven leader in Denver and throughout The Weitz Company. Bringing over 23 years of experience in the construction industry to this role, she values people above all else. She recognizes the importance of all team members as the foundation for long term success.

As General Manager, Eathorne will provide leadership, vision and management within the Rocky Mountain business unit to achieve strategic plan performance, company growth, employee development goals and client satisfaction.

Eathorne has been with Weitz since 2006, with most recently holding the role of Director of Preconstruction for the Denver office, where she was instrumental in transforming the group into a dynamic team of talented individuals, as well as growing The Weitz Company’s market share in the region.

Eathorne is known for developing people, teams, relationships, and growth. She has an impressive resume of flagship projects during her career, along with significant time in the field, giving her a strong foundation to support employee and company growth for Denver. Eathorne earned her degree in Civil Engineering from the Lafayette College in Pennsylvania. She replaces Bruce Porter, who is remaining with the firm and moving into an expanded Business Development Role.
