Greg Martin named Mission Critical Vice President and General Manager

Greg brings a wealth of experience and understanding that is crucial to the exponential growth of the Mission Critical division

The Weitz Company is excited to announce the recent promotion of Greg Martin to Vice President and General Manager of our Mission Critical business unit.

Greg has proven his ability to expand and lead through a fast-paced and ever-changing division. His commitment to growing his team and building up the next level of leadership cultivates an environment of constant bar-raising, and team members taking initiative in all areas.

As Vice President and General Manager, Greg will provide leadership, vision, and management to all of our Mission Critical projects across the United States and Internationally. As the data center market continues to grow at an unprecedented pace, acquiring and fostering new talent, while developing current leaders continues to be a top priority for Weitz.

Greg joined the company back in 2003 as an intern with Weitz Golf assigned to a project in Fort Worth, Texas. Upon college graduation in 2004, he joined Weitz full-time as a project engineer, holding various operations positions throughout his tenure at Weitz, including playing an integral role in the Company’s Operational Excellence group, servicing projects companywide.

In 2018 Greg began leading the Company’s hyper-scale data center efforts. Using his experience and understanding of the product type, he played an instrumental role in the launch, growth, and continued success of the Mission Critical division, which has grown to be the Company’s single largest business unit within a four-year period. Greg and his leadership team recently achieved yet another exciting milestone, securing and mobilizing the Company’s first international data center project in Mexico.
