DES MOINES, Iowa – National general contractor and construction management firm The Weitz Company has added to its senior living business development team.
Nadine De Nicola, a long-term care industry professional, has joined Weitz as a business development manager to support the growth of the company’s senior living product line. She has worked in post-acute care and long-term care her entire career with a focus on cultivating and managing multi-million dollar capital, technology and supply spend. De Nicola will be based in Weitz’s Phoenix office, but she will connect with senior living developers, owners and operators nationally in partnership with The Weitz Company Executive Vice President Chris Harrison and The Weitz Company Vice President Ben Bruns.
“Nadine’s experience in and understanding of the senior living market will be a huge value add to the Weitz team and our clients,” Harrison said. “She has great energy, a proven reputation for building meaningful relationships and a knowledge base for the market that will serve her well in this new role with us.”
Having previously worked for The Ensign Group Inc. and Direct Supply Inc., De Nicola has spent seven years in the senior living industry with experience ranging from capital procurement and operations to sales and consulting. She will utilize her background and expertise to help The Weitz Company expand its senior living footprint that includes more than 350 projects exceeding $4 billion worth of construction work since 1962.
