P-807 Aircraft Surveillance Radar, MCAGCC

This project involved the design and construction of an Aircraft Surveillance Radar (ARS-11) system that included a radome antenna tower and a 240’ antenna to service the collocated and upgraded radio equipment, as well as the design-build construction of a Radar Equipment Building, and a remotely located Radio Communications Building, and related communication connectivity between the two sites. The site work consisted of upgrades to the electrical distribution system, fiber optic and copper communication lines, 34.5 Kv Medium Power line installation, access road construction and pavement. Design and construction of road improvements including drainage, catch basins, environmental protection and removal of 22,000 CY of rock to prepare the site for the radar installation. The project began with the demolition of existing structures, foundations and site utilities.
