Fort Carson Battalion Headquarters

The Weitz Company provided turnkey design, fabrication, and installation with our patent pending double-cantilevered solar carports. The carport array covers 146 parking spaces and has an annual output of 398,500 kWh. The solar carports were added to the building project to provide shade protection, carbon footprint reduction, and net energy reduction, contributing eight LEED points with a goal of achieving LEED Gold.
