Berkshire Elementary School

West Palm Beach, FL

Weitz built this new elementary school on a tight eight acre parcel within a densely populated residential community. The campus includes three wings and features a multitude of classrooms, ESA labs, an indoor/outdoor stage area, a cafeteria to seat up to 328 students, a music hall, art studio, media center, CCTV studio, and administrative offices. A kindergarten play area, physical education pavilion, central courtyard with landscape gardens and athletic fields make up the remainder of the campus. Weitz exceeded all MWBE participation goals for this project which represents one of 22 built for this public agency in the last 18 years.
