The Weitz Company values internships and co-ops as integral parts of our hiring process. Our programs provide hands-on work experience, team-building, and an opportunity to learn how to Build a Better Way.
Operations
Building innovative projects is at the core of what we do. Students interested in construction, engineering, and more can gain real-world experience on a jobsite or office across the country.
Professional Services
Though we are a general contractor, we also need professional services to help our company grow. Students interested in accounting, marketing, VDC, human resources, information technology, legal, and more can gain insight into our industry at one of our offices nationwide.

Whether it be an internship or co-op, the Weitz Company provides a comprehensive program to ensure students are set up for success as a future professional. Key elements of our student programs include:
| Peer Partner | Upon arrival, you will be paired with an individual in a similar job function whose goal is to help you learn and gain the best experience possible. |
| Meaningful Job Assignments | You will have the opportunity to make your mark on the company and engage in work assignments that provide a preview of your career with Weitz. |
| Training | You will gain access to all of the excellent learning tools Weitz employees receive, including online tutorials, on-the-job training, and the ability to work alongside our team of talented professionals. |
| Networking Events | Throughout your experience, you will participate in various events that enable you to familiarize yourself with our people and our culture, as well as get out into the community. |

Since its inception in the 1990s, our internship program has provided hundreds of students valuable learning opportunities.
