The newly renovated Veterans Memorial Auditorium, built by The Weitz Company was named the winner in the $10 million and over category at the 100th annual Master Builders of Iowa (MBI) convention recently held in Des Moines, IA. The Masters Award program was created to recognize the exceptional efforts of a construction team in executing the process of completing a project. More than 500 people attended the convention in the grand ballroom of the Veterans Memorial Auditorium. Founded in 1912, the MBI is the recognized leader of the construction industry in the State of Iowa and is one of more than 100 chapters of the AGC of America. MBI has more than 2,300 members.
